Lockdown 3

Lockdown 3 commenced on 5 January 2021.

The College of Podiatry has told all its members that they can continue to operate within government guidelines during this latest period of lockdown. Hence we shall be remaining open. We have strong cleaning, distancing and PPE protocols in place and can continue to care for your feet during this national emergency and are working hard to keep our patients and staff safe.

New Verruca Treament!

Verrutop Verruca Treatment

We have a new verruca treatment available. Its called Verrutop and is a new therapeutic treatment for verruca with a Nitrizinc Complex. Trials have shown complete remission in 89% of patients after a maximum of 6 topical applications of Verrutop, with more than 50% of patients showing complete clearance of warts/verrucae treated with 3 sessions of Verrutop.

The treatment comes to us in little ampules from which your podiatrist would take a tiny drop to apply to a verruca. There is enough in the ampule to treat several verrucae, if you are unlucky enough to have a cluster!

The fee is £50 per treatment. The manufacturer recommends a minimum of 3 treatments, 2 weeks apart.

Covid-19 Coronavirus

We re-opened after lockdown on 19 May 2020 and are now able to see all patients. We are following the strict guidelines of the government and the podiatrists governing body, The College of Podiatry and have strong protocols in place to keep both you, our patients, and us safe and well. These include screens in reception and PPE for the podiatrists as well as lots of cleaning. We do ask if you could wear face coverings when you enter the building and pay by card or phone. Lets hope this doesn’t go on for too much longer, if we all work together we will beat it sooner.

Monday 2 November 2020

We will be remaining OPEN during this second lockdown, starting 5 November. If you have any queries about a potential or an existing appointment please call us on 01326564671 to discuss.
